Field notes
What belongs in a Taiwan tax filing pack before you call it complete
A filing pack is more than the return itself. For a trail that can be followed later, each material figure needs a home in the support folder.
Core pieces for many Taipei filers
Keep period-matched bank and card exports, sales invoices or POS summaries, expense invoices with clear vendor names, payroll withholding slips, and prior-year returns in the same pack. Amendment notices belong beside the schedules they change — not in a separate email thread that nobody files.
Naming that helps a later reviewer
Date, counterparty, and document type in the filename saves hours when reconstructing a trail. “Invoice-2025-04-WeiTrading.pdf” beats “scan003.pdf” when you are matching a schedule line months later.
What we still see go missing
Withholding slips that never left payroll email, cash expense notes without dates, and contract pages that show the parties but not the payment schedule. Those gaps are fixable before filing if someone looks.
If you want a second pass on a pack already assembled, our pre-filing document pack check is built for that moment.
