Tax Document Audit Trail Review

A line-by-line examination linking Taiwan tax filing figures back to invoices, statements, contracts, and amendments — delivered as a written trail map.

Who it is for

Owners, finance leads, and household filers in Taipei who need to show — or simply understand — how each material figure on a tax filing ties back to source documents. Useful before a complex filing, after a restatement, or when a prior year’s pack feels incomplete.

Result you receive

A written trail summary that maps key filing lines to supporting records, lists gaps and inconsistencies, and notes where amendments or missing slips interrupt the story. You keep the summary with your filing pack for later reference.

Scope included

  • Intake of the filing pack, prior returns, and available source folders
  • Mapping of agreed material lines to invoices, bank exports, contracts, and withholding records
  • Notes on missing, duplicated, or mismatched documents
  • A closing conversation to walk through findings

Outside this engagement

We do not file returns on your behalf, negotiate with authorities as counsel, or rebuild your full bookkeeping system. Separate bookkeeping cleanup can be discussed after the trail review if gaps require it.

How we work

Reviews are led by our Taipei practice team at No.17, Lane 143, Sec. 3 Cheng Te Rd., with remote document intake when binders can be shared securely in advance. Typical duration is five to ten business days after a complete pack arrives, longer in peak filing weeks.

Preparation

Bring prior-year returns, the current draft or filed pack, bank and card exports for the period, sales invoices or POS summaries, expense folders, payroll withholding slips, and any amendment notices. A short intake call confirms what is material for your situation.

Pricing basis

Fees depend on entity type, number of material lines, and pack completeness. See fee guidance for starting ranges, or request a review with a brief description of the period and documents on hand.
